The Department offers a Postgraduate Program titled "Protection of Structures from Natural Disasters." The postgraduate program focuses on the protection of structures (such as buildings, bridges, roadworks, retaining walls, coastal structures, etc.) from damage that may be caused by natural phenomena like earthquakes, floods, strong winds, fire, landslides, wave action, meteorological tides, etc. This program is designed to transfer the necessary knowledge to civil engineers so they can analyze and design a structure resistant to natural hazards according to existing regulations and unconventional methods.
