The Doctoral Studies of the Department of Civil Engineering of the School of Engineering at the University of Peloponnese are organized and operate in accordance with the provisions of Law 4485/2017 and the general institutional framework as it is in force at any given time. They aim to promote original scientific research and lead to the acquisition of a Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.), which certifies the conduct of original scientific research and the holder's substantial contribution to the advancement of knowledge in fields that fall within the research interests and/or scientific domains addressed by the Department, either exclusively or more broadly, in accordance with the concept of interdisciplinarity that governs modern research activity.
