There is a wide range of fields in which graduates of the Department can be employed. This field includes private companies, engineering firms, the public sector, and the technical services of municipalities. The Department graduate can also supervise or undertake work as a technical project contractor. A significant number of graduates from the former Department of Civil Engineering (ΤΕΙ) found employment in technical offices within the country after completing their practical training, as well as abroad thru the Erasmus program, while some students chose to continue their studies in related postgraduate programs. The same opportunities, and indeed enhanced ones, are offered to graduates of the new Department as well. A significant advantage of our graduates is that thru the large number of workshops they attend, they gain significant practical experience.
