Learning Outcomes

The course aims to understand the basic principles of airport design, construction, and management, with an emphasis on the operational requirements and modern technologies applied in international and local airports.

Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be able to:

  • It describes the systems and subsystems of the airport.
  • It distinguishes the consequences of the researcher's proposals in airport design by presenting numerous examples.
  • It applies a systemic approach and methodology in addressing the design processes and the operational and management activities of airports.
  • It structures and implements regulations for airport design.
  • It calculates and sizes the various subsystems of the airport.
