Learning Outcomes

The course material includes the basic concepts of hydraulic and marine structures for renewable energy production and the principles of energy production.

With the successful completion of the course, the student will be able to:

  • Categorise the main types of hydraulic and marine structures for renewable energy production.
  • recognise the basic principles of hydraulic design for these constructions.
  • explain the processes related to the hydraulic design of energy production structures.
  • Use design tools (equations/models) for the sizing of structures.
