Students from all universities in the country can apply online for a new academic ID. Electronic submission is done here. The new ID card features strong mechanical durability and anti-counterfeiting security features. Additionally, it is designed to be valid for the duration of student status and covers multiple uses, in addition to the Student ID (Paso). IDs will be delivered to the pick-up point each student selected when submitting their application, free of charge. The new IDs state the exact validity period of the Student Pass entitlement. In the event that the student is not entitled to a Student Ticket, the card serves as a simple identity document. Additionally, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, every student has the option to declare any allergies they have, as well as whether they are or wish to become an organ donor. The declaration of this information, as well as its inclusion on the Academic ID, is purely optional. After the Academic ID is printed, the information regarding allergies and organ donation is deleted from the Central Information System.
