Welcome note by the Head of the Department

Welcome to the Department of Civil Engineering of the University of Peloponnese, based in Patras.

In our Department we serve the science of Civil Engineering in order to provide our students with full and complete training to meet the challenges of the market. The Department offers a complete yet flexible curriculum that leads to the award of Integrated Master at level 7 of the National and European Qualifications Framework. The equipment is adequate for this purpose. At the same time we foster a spirit of teamwork and cooperation among students, a quality very important for their future career.

Our Department has a Postgraduate Studies Programme as well as the possibility of preparing a doctoral thesis.

The remarkable research activity is carried out by the professors and associate professors with the contribution of postgraduate students.

One of the main characteristics of the Department is the direct communication between professors and students, mutual respect and common struggle towards the intended goal of studies.
