Σύντομο Βιογραφικό Σημείωμα  Η Δρ. Αγγελική Παπαλού διπλωματούχος του Τμήματος Πολιτικών Μηχανικών του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών (1986), έχει MSc (1990) και Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (1993) από το University of Southern California. Εργάζεται ως Αναπληρώτρια Καθηγήτρια στο Τμήμα Πολιτικών Μηχανικών του Πανεπιστημίου Πελοποννήσου με εξειδίκευση στη Στατική και Αντισεισμική Προστασία Κτιρίων με έμφαση στα Συστήματα Ελέγχου Απόκρισης Κατασκευών. Παράλληλα είναι Διευθύντρια του Προγράμματος Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών (Π.Μ.Σ.) του ίδιου Τμήματος με τίτλο «Προστασία Κατασκευών από Φυσικές Καταστροφές». Δυτικής Ελλάδας (2016-2019) όπου διατέλεσε και Κοσμήτορας της Σχολής Τεχνολογικών Εφαρμογών (2018-2019), ως Επίκουρη Καθηγήτρια στο Τμήμα Πολιτικών Μηχανικών του ΤΕΙ της Δυτικής Ελλάδας (2013-2016), ως Επίκουρη Καθηγήτρια στο Τμήμα Ανακαίνισης και Αποκατάστασης Κτιρίων του ΤΕΙ της Πάτρας (2005-2013) όπου διετέλεσε και Προϊσταμένη του Τμήματος (2008-2010), ως Επίκουρη Καθηγήτρια στο Τμήμα Μηχανικών του Robert Morris University, Moon Township, Pennsylvania (2001-2005), ως Λέκτορας στο Τμήμα Πολιτικών και Μηχανικών στο Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (1997-2001), ως Μεταδιδακτορική Ερευνήτρια στο Computational Mechanics Laboratory, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (1995-1997) και ως Πολιτικός Μηχανικός στην εταιρεία Nabih Youssef and Associates, Los Angeles, California (1993-1994). Είναι συγγραφέας επιστημονικών άρθρων σε διεθνή περιοδικά αναγνωρισμένου κύρους και σε επιστημονικά συνέδρια (https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=Um9NU0YAAAAJ&hl=en), ενός βιβλίου και ενός κεφαλαίου βιβλίου . Έχει διατελέσει επιστημονική υπεύθυνος και έχει συμμετάσχει ως μέλος ερευνητικής ομάδας σε χρηματοδοτούμενα ερευνητικά προγράμματα. Είναι κριτής σε περισσότερα από είκοσι διεθνή επιστημονικά περιοδικά  και μέλος της American Society of Civil Engineers (ACSE), του Τεχνικού Επιμελητηρίου της Ελλάδας (ΤΕΕ) και του American Mechanics Institute.  Τα ερευνητικά της ενδιαφέροντα εστιάζονται στην προστασία των κατασκευών από φυσικούς κινδύνους, στην πειραματική μελέτη σεισμικής απόκρισης και δομικού ελέγχου κατασκευών (structural control), στην αντισεισμική προστασία ιστορικών αντικειμένων, κατασκευών και μνημείων και στην ανάλυση και ενίσχυση κατασκευών. Προπτυχιακά μαθήματα
