Learning Outcomes:

The course focuses on the fundamental principles, techniques, and methodologies of project management with application in the technical and construction sector. The stages of a project's life cycle are presented, from conception and design to implementation, monitoring, and delivery.

With the successful completion of the course, the student will be able to:

  • Describe the basic stages of a technical project.
  • Prepare project schedules and budgets.
  • Calculate the critical path, resources, and cost of a project during its planning and implementation phases.
  • Analyse risks and make decisions under uncertainty.
  • Use basic project management tools.
