Basic theoretical approaches, contemporary perspectives, and planning practices. The dimension of sustainability. The legislative and institutional framework of urban planning in Greece. Land-use plans and urban functions. Street layouts, building regulations, and the General Building Code. Types of urban plans and modes of planning intervention. European Union interventions in urban areas. Smart and resilient cities.
